Meet American Bhau

Hey there! I’m Rahul Patil, but everyone calls me American Bhau (and yes, there’s a story behind that name 😄).

Born in a tiny village near Dhule, Maharashtra, then dragged around India every few years because papa worked for the government. Classic Indian childhood, right? Eventually landed at BITS Pilani for computers, then hopped on a plane to America to become yet another software engineer.

Plot twist: The cubicle life was slowly killing my soul. So I did what any (in)sane person would do, took a 6 month sabbatical to travel, read books, and figure out what the heck I actually wanted to do with my life.

Best decision ever! Quit my tech job in 2023 and went full entrepreneur mode. Now I’m America’s #1 Marathi podcaster (humble brag 🎧), YouTuber, and the guy businesses call when they want their stories told right on social media. My team and I create content that actually gets people’s attention, we’re talking millions of views and impressions here, folks!


Bottom line: We help brands tell stories that don’t suck. Because let’s be honest, most marketing does.

Meet Our Creative Force

Hey! I’m Pallavi Chivte-Patil, the creative brain behind all the magic you see here (and Rahul’s better half, but don’t tell him I said that 😉).

Started my journey in Satara, then headed to the legendary JJ School of Arts in Mumbai to study Architecture. Spent years designing buildings across India and the US, thinking I’d be the next big architect.

Plot twist: When Covid 2020 turned everything upside down, I decided to add UI/UX certification to my arsenal. While others were perfecting sourdough starters, I was perfecting user experiences.

Now I’m the Creative Director and co-owner of American Bhau, which basically means I’m the one making sure our content doesn’t look like it was made in 2005. From the initial “what if we did this crazy idea?” to the final “yes, this is actually going live,” I make sure everything we create hits the right notes with our audience.

My superpower: Turning Rahul’s wild ideas into content that people actually want to watch. Also, I have an unhealthy obsession with making sure our designs are on trend (you’re welcome).
